Established in 1996, our history is an excellent indicator of our
successful approach to tuition.
We only charge hourly rates. There are no upfront agency fees, no
hidden costs, and no lock in contract periods.
Each student has an individually tailored program designed to complement
the student's particular subject, syllabus or curriculum, with scope
for extension or remedial work as required.
All tutors are qualified teachers, university graduates (with relevant
degrees) or university students undertaking study in related disciplines.
All tutors need to pass a three-stage application process. This involves
an application form based on our rigorous agency criteria, a phone interview
and finally undergo a successful face-to-face interview.
Tutors are selected on their academic background, skill level and
experience, personality, manner, motivation and reliability.
All tutors have been screened and registration with the Department
of Education's nation wide police checking system 'Working With Children'
has occurred.
You choose the location. Either the convenience of your own home,
or at an agreed location with the tutor.
If you are unhappy at any time you are free to change tutors or cease
tuition.
Tutoring For Excellence strives to provide information, which guides
parents and students through the tuition process. We believe in giving
our customers an honest and realistic forecast of what the tuition will
achieve in a given time, and will choose the most suitable tutor based
on the customer's requirements regarding subject, level, location and
availability.
Tutoring For Excellence is owned and operated by a fully qualified
teacher and ex principal, with over 15 years industry experience in
the public and private education sectors, both nationally and internationally.
Our managing director was a founding member of the Australian
Tutoring Association. He has served on its board for the last five
years and is its current Chairman.
